ALEXIS & ASHLYNN
Alexis did a great job keeping the pressure on, making great tackles and fantastic throw-ins. Ashlynn followed through with being the goal keeper we've come to expect, coming out of the box when necessary and blocking the opponents goal attempts. Great job, girls!

The '99 Girls Team is proud to announce our Players of the Game for the North Texas President's Cup Tournament (3/17-18/12):
99 GIRLS TEAM
The girls competed in their first finals for a tournament and ended a well played match with 2nd place! Even without many subs and multiple injuries, each girl could not wait to get back into the action. Props go out to everyone with some special props to our keeper, Ashlynn, for keeping the opponents balls out of the net!

ANNELIESE
Anneliese played at 100% for the entire game. She never waited for the ball but charged after it winning the 50/50 ball everytime. She kept the pressure on the opponent and was agressive when needed.

KYLA
Kyla is always "ON". She never has to be reminded to step it up. Her work ethics and drive and dedication show through in every game she plays. Kyla is always where she needs to be because she is always reading the ball. Great job, Kyla!

Both girls showed a lot of energy and kept on fighting through the game. It was cold and the field was muddy but after every fall they kept getting back up; they continued to battle! WAY TO BE TOUGH!

KC did a great job at midfield, often going into forward territory to steal the ball from the opposing team. Kristen used her speed and footwork to score the game winning goals!

KC always does a great job in her position. This game was no different. She can always be relied upon to get to the ball quickly, get the header when it's available and clear the ball with a tremendous kick.

After taking an unwelcomed convalescence from soccer, Sierra never missed a beat with her speed and foot skills. She could almost taste her next goal with each break away!

When the game was on the downturn, these two girls never faltered in their diligence to keep fighting for the win! They showed pure heart and love for the game with their aggressiveness and "go get 'em" attitude.
