invites you to participate in Texas Lightning Puma Cup USA 2012 soccer tournament.

comes available that you need regarding the tournament such as basic tournament information, rules, etc.
The panel to the right contains the link to apply on line and as they come available, links to accepted teams, schedules and standings.

When is the deadline to apply?
The
deadline to apply is July 11, 2012
Will we play for advancement?
Yes
-
However, to allow as many teams that applied prior to the deadline
to participate, there may be a few 5 team divisions, where
each team will play 4 games and the championship will be awarded
solely on points with no championship game.
Will there be a Gold & Silver Bracket in my age group?
If
there are enough teams in an age group, we will have a Gold & Silver
bracket.
What is the Format for the age groups?
Academy – U7-U8 – 7 v 7
Academy – U9 – 9 v 9
U11
thru U19 – 11 v 11
Can
I have Guest Players?
Academy Teams – no Guest Players
U11
thru U19 – 5 Guest Players Allowed
What is the Roster Size?
U7
through U8 – maximum of 12 players
U9 – maximum of 14 players
U11
through U15 – maximum of 18 players
U16
throughU19– maximum of 22 players

Please plan to check-in your
team on Thursday unless you live outside the DFW Metroplex. Limited
check-in at fields.
U7 through U9 Academy Teams:
1. will need an Academy Tournament
Roster.
2. No Guest Players
3. Teams will play in the same age group
that they played in the Spring of 2012 as they do not change their
age distinction until August, which is after this tournament.
NOTE
There
will not be an U-10 Academy Division as those players became
eligible to play U-11
What is required at check-in?
Academy Teams – will need a “Tournament Roster” signed and dated by
your Home Association Registrar for this event.
Competitive U-11 through U-19 Teams – will need a copy of your
Official State Roster for us to keep.
You
will need to show us your Medial Releases (Notarized not
required).
Can
I check in at the fields??
If
you are an out-of town team, you may check-in at the fields before
your first game but please arrive at least one hour before game
time.
Why
do I need to check-in on Thursday night?
Final schedules will be given at check-in, along with Game reports,
maps, copy of the rules. If any paperwork is not in order, you will
have Friday to complete it.
Where will I find the game reports?
Game reports will be given to you in your packet at check-in. Game
reports should be signed by the referee after the game and given to
Tournament Headquarters following the game, win or lose.
Will I need to give a copy of the roster to the referee?
No,
you will not.
Do
the Medical Releases need to be notarized?
No.
